Flickr was the place I started learning about uploading anything on the web. I have lots of photos there so I am using Flickr Album to display my flickr sets as albums, another step in my aim to co-ordinate my photos from this site. Gallery2 is next but WPG2 is giving me a few problems. You may view my Flickr Albums here.

I have been trying to solve a thumbnail display problem in my NextGen Gallery. The thumbnails only display in extend mode….they show blank in compact mode. Compact mode is really perfect to display many albums without scrolling down the screen to see each one. I am not happy with the extend mode so I am weighing my options: continue trying to fix it, use the extend mode or use another gallery program. Well, I tried the latter and NextGen seems to be the best. I will keep searching and keep trying my best to solve the problem.

I attempted using NextGen Gallery in April when I started this blog, but was having problems with the thumbnails displaying. That has been resolved and I now have NextGen installed again. It is time consuming having your blog in one location and the Photo Gallery in another. With NextGen, I can just post to my blog and photo gallery in one administrative panel. You may view my NextGen Gallery by clicking on “My Next Gen Gallery” page in the upper right hand side of this page.

It has been a long time since I’ve posted, having been busy working on two projects bigdiscountprices.com and EbookBrian. I have also been busy updating my gallery, adding new photos, changing and customizing the theme. It is easy to change themes in Gallery 2, as it requires little or no adjustment.
I changed from Carbon Theme to Ebony (which is similiar to Carbon) because Ebony makes it easy to add and view comments. Carbon’s comments tabs are hard to see icons that you definitely have to search for. I have been through almost 5 thousand views with Carbon and not a single comment. That is the only problem I have with this otherwise excellent theme.
I’ve added three new albums: Brian’s Views, Trelawny Athletes Honored and Village United vs Seba (football). For those interested in jamaican track & field personalities, Trelawny Athletes Honored features Veronica Campbell, Omar Brown, Usain Bolt, Michael Frater and Marvin Anderson.
